Oh Valentine by Sylvester Olo

Oh Valentine! How you worked your art, You spun a web, Around the world.  How beautifully, It binds us in its cocoon. Good deeds you spread, Each intricately Woven thread, with strands of care.  By your warm outreach, You dried up tears, You dispelled fears of men, And restored hope to the broken hearted.  Your love and care  Helped me understand, And patiently, You held my hand, To give me courage,  To brave the storm, With kindness.  You kept me warm, Your passion  Lit a glowing fire, That filled my soul, With sweet desire, To reach out to the downtrodden.  Oh Valentine, How wonderful,  Is thy love,  For the love you spun, Was made of love, The Love of Christ.
