How to illuminate Your body

When the disciples of Jesus Christ asked him about his second coming the answer he gave was a very interesting one.
He said 'Be careful that no man deceive you...'

This implies that in the last days a lot of instruments and devices are going to be put in place in order to turn our attention from Jesus.

As believers we constantly need to keep our eyes on Jesus and turn our attention away from anything that will take our eyes one inch away from God. We need to constantly keep God in sight as we walk in righteousness.

The Bible clearly states in Matthew 6:22
that when we are single eyed( which means having our whole attention on Jesus despite the distractions) our whole body will be full of light.

I'm going to try my possible best in this article to teach us some key steps to keeping Jesus in focus as we live our lives. Some of the things that I am going to share with you are things that you might already know. But the Bible tells us that 'He that thinks he stands let him take heed lest he fall'

1) Study
The most important thing in order to keep Jesus in focus is to know what he says about us. What better way to know this than to constantly study his words. The bible says in Joshua 1:8 that we should study and meditate on the word of God day and night. Meditation on the Word of God is an inevitable step in keeping Jesus in focus.

2 ) Communication
We need to always communicate with our Father. While Jesus was on earth he showed us a very good example on communicating with God. Jesus also taught us how to pray in Luke 11:2-end
Prayer is very important because as we pray we align ourselves with the will of God.

3) Fellowship
In Hebrews 10:25 the Bible says that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. Fellowship is very vital in our walk with God. The Bible also says that when two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus he is there present with them. We should learn to constantly Fellowship with one another because even Jesus took fellowship with his disciples very seriously. We should also learn to surround ourselves with people that are of God. The Bible says in Psalm 1:1 that any man who does not dwell with the ungodly is a blessed man. Fellowship is very important in our walk with God.

These three keys may seem too surface  and too easy to be true but if you practice and do them you'll find out that Jesus will always be the main focus and drive for your life and thus you'll have a body that is full of light.
