As I sat amongst the invited and uninvited guests at a birthday party of an 80 year old, I began thinking about the future. The words spoken about this man by children and well wishers ignited this thinking.
Some of the things that everyone kept repeating were:
1. His Love and compassion for people even if he hasn't known you for too long.
2. His unselfish lifestyle, someone said "He can give his skin not just his clothes".
3. His beliefs of peace.
4. His discipline.
After listening to this I began asking myself, if i were in his shoes what would people say about me (not on the microphone, but in their hearts).
I just want you to participate in this life changing exercise with me; Follow the three steps below:
1. Write down three most important things you want people to remember you for.
2. Are people currently seeing you as written in (1) above?
If yes continue to improve , If no continue to number 3
3. Put 6 things ( 2 for each points written in number 1) you would start doing differently from NOW, in order to achieve that which you wrote in Number 1
